024 John's Work

John lives in an area nursing home. Retired from the Steel he hasn't been able to take care of himself in the home he built in the 1950's with his own hands and the help of a few friends. He lived there watching his children grow, welcoming grandchildren, and caring for his wife in the end stages of cancer. Now he keeps busy watching TV and taking little walks around the yard at the nursing home. He is grateful for his little room, the walks in the yard, the cleanliness of the home, the food that is provided, and the staff who take care of his needs.  His work is now the puzzle books his daughter brings him; crosswords, word searches and Sudoku.
