Since Thanksgiving the renovation work kept to it's place in the basement. Until today. The kitchen was never a part of the project, that will be saved for another day. But we decided to open the dining room to the stairwell and remove a short wall between the kitchen and dining room at the top of the stairs. Today that work began with the kitchen shrouded in plastic to keep the dust down. We're eating out for dinner tonight.
